PTC Advantage

The training, advantages and benefits of a PTC education make it the right choice for many students.

Ready to launch a successful career? PTC offers career focused bachelor’s degrees, associate degrees, and certificates to help you find Success Your Way.

PTC creates blocks of class schedules in mornings, afternoons or evenings which accommodates your busy schedule, enhancing part-time job opportunities and promoting academic efficiency and consistency.

All associate degree and many certificate students have the opportunity to experience an industry internship or clinical experience. This further enhances the hands-on experience students enjoy across all programs and builds a strong portfolio.

PTC also supports students with outside-of-the-classroom assistance by connecting them with PTC instructors and peer tutors.

Probably the most important advantage for students is the assistance provided by the Career Services department in job search and career assistance. Students can explore employment opportunities on a local, regional and national level through PTC’s network of contacts. Through Career Connect, an online career search and recruiting tool, graduates are matched with employers nationwide. Free alumni professional development courses keep graduates current with new technology and graduates are offered lifetime career assistance.

From free parking to an on-campus café, both on-campus and off-campus residence halls and student activities, PTC students enjoy the PTC Advantage every day.

Different People Learn in Different Ways. What’s Best for You?

Students learn in many different ways, and at PTC we’ve found the best path to success happens in smaller classes that emphasize hands-on, interactive, collaborative learning, not in large lecture classes often found at other colleges.

It’s a proven approach where students learn fundamental concepts more successfully, and are better able to apply them, through interactive, collaborative, student-centered learning.
