Spring Portfolio Show Showcases Top Talent

The PTC School of Design was the epicenter of a dynamic collection of artwork Thursday, at the Spring Portfolio Show.
Hosted by Shawn Moody, replete in Superman garb, the event was the culmination of the School of Design students’ months of work and preparation.

Over 40 Graphic Design, Video-3D, and Web-Interactive students showcased their projects.
“Pittsburgh Technical College hosts the Portfolio Show to give our students a chance to display the culmination of their work. Mr. Moody explained.  “The students have the opportunity to interact with potential employers, family and friends.”  “We had 21 Graphic Design students, 13 Video-3D and 6 Web-Interactive Design students participating in this Portfolio Show.”

The highlight of the show was the awards ceremony where the faculty recognized the top students to the applause of hundreds of spectators. The winners of the April Portfolio Show were:

Kenny Dixon : Best of Show
Olivia Weiland : 2nd Runner Up
Kate Rafas : 3rd Runner Up

Ashley Clementson : Best in Show
Michelle Padavano : RUNNER UP 

Sean Gracy : Best of Show
Cheyne O'Shaughnessy : Runner Up

Mr. Moody said to group of gathered Design Students “I'm very proud of each and every one of the you. I see a room full of untapped creativity
and potential. Your responsibility moving forward is to carry that passion into every aspect of your life and strive for success!
