Pittsburgh Technical College (PTC) invites applications and nominations for the position of President. The Board is seeking an accomplished, visionary and entrepreneurial leader to lead PTC to new heights and national recognition. The position is available in summer 2019 and reports directly to the Board of Trustees.
PTC offers its 2,000 students over 30 academic offerings in either certificate, associate, or baccalaureate degree programs. As a predominately two-year institution, PTC is unique in its ability to offer students a residential life experience on its 180-acre campus ten miles west of Pittsburgh.
In 2017, PTC, transitioned from a for-profit to a non-profit institution (501c3 status), positioning the college to be more financially competitive and qualify for various amenities, grants, and scholarship opportunites that will benefit the student body. The overarching focus of both faculty and staff remains on supporting students - both in and outside the classroom - as they strive to reach their career goals.
The next President will have the unique opportunity to lead the college in its philosophical and structural transition from a for profit to a nonprofit institution.
